This photo was taken 2 days before Bailey went to the Rainbow Bridge. He had been sick with seizures for 5 months, that had been controlled with medication. Sadly, the medicine stopped helping and we had to stop his suffering on February 23, 2006

My best friend, Kathy, sent this yarn (along with many others) for Christmas. I have decided I am going to make the Diamond Lace scarf with it. You can find the pattern here:

I can't wait to start this one!!!
A baby afghan that I am knitting for my best friend, Kathy's, first grandchild. The pattern is from Leisure Arts "Our Best Knit Baby Afghans" and I am using Red Heart baby teri in the color spearmint. I am about 1/3 the way done. I really should get back on this one as the baby is due sometime this month
This is an afghan that I started last year, and is an UFO (UnFinished Object). I forgot how beautiful it is until I took it out to take a pic. It is an Absolutely Fabulous Throw kit, in a color scheme called Nightfall. It has 8 different types of yarn included. If you would like to do one of these for yourself visit:

I knitted this prayer shawl for my mother-in-law, Dottie. I didn't do the fringe, as I didn't want to make it difficult for her to get settled. It is a Lion's Brand pattern and I used Homespun yarn in Quartz.
This is my first attempt at a sweater. I started this last summer. So far I have the back and down to the last couple rows of the left front done. It is done in Bernat Bling Bling in Moulin Rouge. The picture doesn't show all the qualities of this yarn, but it does have texture and some "bling"!!!! It has a double-sided zipper and a picture of the sweater is to the left.

My mom knitted this scarf for me out the trellis yarn.
It was nice omething made just for me :)

We experienced our first snow fall in our new home, December 3, 2005. We came from southern California, so we never had snow. My husband David rolled the lower ball, and my son, Kyle, and his friends helped roll the other two. Kyle had a blast sledding on the hills we have around our property.

My oldest child, Kristen (almost 23) and her son Donovan (5). We took Donovan for his first visit to the snow at Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic Mountains in NW Washington. He had a blast sledding down te snow-packed hills..
A special moment between myself and my grandson, Donovan (5). We had just spent a wonderful day in Victoria, B.C., Canada and we on our way home on the ferry.

My husband David, and our dog Bailey taking a nap. Imagine ..... both husband and dog snore .... and not together!!!!
This was made for my daughter Kristen's best friend, Tawny's new baby, Gracie ..... did I loose you there :) She was born in July '05. The pattern is from Leisure Arts "Our Best Knit Baby Afghans" and I used Bernat, baby coordinates in purple, pink and white.
My oldest son, Corey on the left (20) and my youngest son, Kyle (12).

Our home....We are surrounded by trees, the mountain to the south and are on a bluff that overlooks the Straits of Juan de Fuca. We enjoy watching all the ships pass through. We are visited by deer, raccoons and we have enjoyed watching a juvenile bald eagle soar.
A beautiful sunset taken from our home in Washington. In the background, to the right, you can see Victoria, B.C. Canada. Our house is set on a bluff, overlooking the Straits of Juan de Fuca
We have a family of deer that frequent our place. We have seen two, first year fawns, two, second year, the mom, and occasionally the buck makes his presence known. How neat it is to look out the windows and see them so peaceful and feeling right at home.
This is my youngest daughter, Katelin, getting ready to enter the limo for her prom 6/05 for Grant High School in North Hollywood, California. Isn't she gorgeous?
Aren't they cute? These are our two furbabies. Bailey is on the left and Shibby is on the right. Bailey is Shibby's dad. We had mom, Annie, but she went to Rainbow Bridge a few years ago. Bailey was named for my favorite coffee liqueur, and my oldest son Corey, named Shibby from a character from "Dude Where's my Car?" They are purebred Lhaso Apso's.

This was made from a kit. I purchased it while at, of all places, a cross stitch festival that I attended in California last year!! I have 2 other ones to do in purple and blue. It was knitted as 1 long piece, then folded in half and sewn together, the handle put on and the orange ribbon weave around the top.
Just a few of the many scarves that I have made. Most of them found new homes when my back was turned!!!
