Here are my 1st pair of socks!!! I love the way they feel on my feet :) I even managed to get them to match. I really do enjoy knitting my own socks.

Well, here it is....My third sock. I just love doing these :) The top is a bit loose.....I have learned something after doing 3 socks ..... Although the pattern is for women's medium and I have a large foot, to stay with the pattern without doing the larger size. They have always been to big around the top. The true adjustment comes in the length, for the custom fit. I will make the mate the same as this one, so that the stripes continue to be equal. The next pair will be done using my "theory."

This is one of the oddest looking cats I have ever seen. No....I didn't make any fancy Photoshop adjustments to it. This cat really does have two different eye colors. His name is Jack and is owner to my daughter Kristen's best friend Tawny. I stayed at Tawny's while I was down visiting my daughters. Jack is all white, with a bushy tail that just doesn't seem to go with his long and slender shape. His head is too small for his body....Looks like a kitten on a cat's body. But he is an adorable cat. Loves to be cuddled and petted. If you read this Tawny, thanks again for letting me stay with your family :)

This is my newest sock adventure. I started this on the 29th of June, when I went down to be with my daughter for her oncologist appointment. I didn't get as much done on it while I was there. Hard to focus after the life-altering news we got. The pattern is called Ripple Socks and is by Mountain Colors. The yarn I am using is by Lana Grossa Meilenweit Cotton Fantasy and I am using size 2 circs. I really love the way it looks and the yarn is very soft. Will post when I get it done!!!
