My current project is a Wing Shawl, which is a striped shadow pattern. It is by Vivian Hoxbro and uses New England Shetland yarn. The colors are Garnet, Chianti, Poppy, Brass & Straw. It is 100% wool. The pattern is worked with size 3 needles, which I have never used before. After a couple rows I finally was able to knit! The CO method was also new to me, as it was a knitted cast-on. That took several tries before I was finally able to CO all 219 stitches :)

This is my next project, a v-neck cardigan sweater. It is knit from side to side and then sleeves added. The yarn I chose is a hand painted 100% worsted wool, by Mountain Colors. The color is called Pheasant and it came in a huge 16 oz. Skein that is 1450 yds. Since it is knit side to side, the stripes will run up and down.....Perfect if you need something to make you look slimmer!!!
I finished the Diamond Lace Scarf last night, after a couple times of frogging and Buddy (dog) getting to it!! Although the first half the edges curl, and suggestions for KAL members, we adjusted the pattern to prevent that from happening. Since I had already ripped out a couple times, I decided to leave it and correct from when I was in the pattern. Next one I make will be much better :)

You are Dishcloth Cotton. You are a very hard worker, most at home when you're at home. You are thrifty and seemingly born to clean. You are considered to be a Plain Jane, but you are too practical to notice
This was interesting to see what I am. I do like yarn that is speckled like that!! Not to sure about being born to clean, but I do like to be at home :)
What kind of yarn are you?

I am now a little further than I was when I ripped out the entire thing and started over. I have completed three repeats and am 1/2 done with the 4th. This morning I woke to find my knitting all over the living room, thanks to our new furbaby Buddy. Thank goodness, I was able to save it, and only had to take out 2 rows to get it back on the needles. Well, needle, Buddy ate one of my fancy bamboo needles :( Well, I sure learned a lesson!! However I don't like how the scarf is curling on the edges.....

This is my progress on the Diamond Lace Scarf as of Wednesday night. I got 19 rows, out 24, for the pattern before it repeats. Didn't spend anytime on it today (Thursday) as I wasn't feeling well. Hope to have much more done when I post tomorrow. The pattern doesn't seem to complicated, especially since there aren't too many stitches on the needle.

The pattern for this is from Lion Brand Yarn and is done in their Homespun Yarn. The blue one is for my husband and is done with Metropolis and Deco. The other one is in Quartz and Tudor. The pattern is easy and is done in 6"blocks of each color. The pattern called for 15 repeats and I chose to only do 11.
